GLC’s ‘NCompass methodology, developed specifically for implementing or upgrading the latest Oracle E-Business applications, provides a road map from initial planning to implementation and support. ‘NCompass provides The Keys to Project Success by breaking each project into six distinct phases or steps to ensure that each implementation provides the customer with the desired results.

Phase 1 Project Planning, Analysis and Preparation
• Review existing systems
• Develop functional specs
• Prepare project plan, budget and schedule
• Identify team roles and responsibilities

Phase II Business Process Analysis
• Review existing business processes
• Develop functional specs for new system

Phase III System Design
• Review and/or define hardware requirements
• Define any required network or software interfaces
• Analyze database/data storage requirements
• Prepare test scripts and test scenarios against business processes

Phase IV System Build
• Install hardware interfaces and upgrades as needed
• Install software and run in parallel with existing computer or manual systems

Phase V Testing
• Execute test plans and validate application
• Resolve outstanding issues
• Document system configuration
Phase VI Training and Implementation
• Obtain “go-live” signoff
• Prepare training materials
• Train users
• Provide support as required
