Asset Manager

job duties:
  • Manage the overall performance and profitability of a portfolio of multifamily properties in Miami, ensuring the achievement of financial and operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic asset management plans for each property, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess physical condition, maintenance needs, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Analyze market trends, economic factors, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for property value enhancement, rental growth, and expense reduction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor property financials, prepare regular reports, and conduct financial analysis to evaluate property performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee lease administration, including lease negotiations, rent increases, lease renewals, and tenant improvements.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, timely rent collection, and effective marketing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in multifamily asset management, and apply this knowledge to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Manage and coordinate the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions of multifamily properties.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in multifamily asset management, with a proven track record of success in managing a portfolio of properties.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, investment analysis, and market research.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, conduct risk assessments, and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of property management principles, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
